Please read our terms and conditions as they apply to every valuation and purchase made through MORE FOR your car. No contract is entered into by either party until both parties agree and sign a written contract of purchase. Statutory rights are unaffected.

1.Pre-Contract Information

1.1 You (the seller) are the lawful keeper of the vehicle and your name appears on the Registration Document (V5) or you are acting on behalf of the owner with their permission.You are in possession of the V5 and this will be handed to us upon payment.
1.2 If your car is required by law to have a MOT, then this must be present and valid at the time of collection.
1.3 You confirm that the car has never been written off or considered as a total loss or had any major bodywork or structural repairs. It also does not have any bodywork or mechanical modifications (unless stated by you) other than manufacturers approved fitted parts. The vehicle must be right hand drive and must not have been imported into the UK.
1.4 The information you have given is a true and fair reflection of the cars make, model, colour, mileage, history and condition.
1.5 The seller warrants that the mileage on the car is accurate and to the best of their knowledge and belief, it has not been altered or tampered with.

2.Valuation

2.1 All valuations are valid for a 14 day period. Any valuation after that time will need to be reassessed.
2.2 All valuations will be in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable.
2.3 All valuations provided by MORE FOR your car are based on the details provided by the seller. Any omission relating to the vehicle, may effect the valuation for the vehicle.
2.4 An increase in the mileage of the vehicle in excess of 500 miles from the date of the valuation to the time of purchase may result in a revised valuation being offered unless prior agreement sought.
2.5 We reserve the right to withdraw or amend a valuation upon receipt of new information.
2.6 If an error in the valuation has occurred, we will rectify it as soon as practicable after it has been identified. We accept no liability for any accidental mistakes or errors caused by technical failures.
2.7 We reserve the right to refuse to provide a valuation on any vehicle without providing a reason.

3.Collection

3.1 Collection will be made by a representative from MORE FOR your car at a mutually agreeable time and location on the UK mainland.
3.2 At the point of collection and prior to any payment being made, an inspection of your vehicle will take place. This is to ensure we have provided an accurate valuation based on your description of the car.
3.3 If there are any discrepancies then the valuation may be altered to reflect these. They will be realistic and fair.
3.4 If you are unhappy with the revised valuation then any contract between yourself and MORE FOR your car will cease and both parties are free to leave.
3.5 At the time of collection, the V5 Registration Document, MOT, tax, service book, all keys and any other documents relating to the car must be released to our driver.
3.6 By prior arrangement You may also deliver your car to us at MORE FOR your car, Park Aveune, Bushey, Hertfordshire, WD23 2GD.

4.Payment

4.1 To prevent fraud, we are only able to make payments to the lawful keeper, unless in exceptional circumstances and prior agreement.
4.2 Generally, we are only able to offer payment via account transfer but we reserve the right to make payment by any other means where reasonable.
4.3 If you do not possess a bank account then please contact us to arrange an alternative payment.
4.3 We cannot accept responsibility for payments made to the wrong account if we have been provided with incorrect details by the seller.We will only make payment once.
4.4 Once payment has been made then all rights of ownership to the vehicle transfer to MORE FOR your car.

5.Outstanding Finance

5.1 We are more than happy to buy your car if there is outstanding finance but this must be declared at the time of the valuation. All the cars that we buy are checked against the HPI database for this.
5.2 The finance companies account details must be disclosed to us along with a settlement balance.These details can be obtained from the company. The company must accept payment direct from ourselves.
5.3 Settlement of the balance owed to the finance company will take priority. Payment will be made via an account transfer to the finance company’s account. The remainder of the valuation will then be paid to you.
5.4 On the rare occasion where the settlement figure is higher than the valuation we have provided, we will still able to purchase your car but you must be able to submit payment for the difference at the time of purchase.In this case, the full valuation will be paid direct to the finance company.

6.Privacy Policy

6.1 We will not release any personal details of you to any third party.We treat any information provided to us with the utmost confidentiality.We respect the trust you place in us.

7.Amendments

7.1 We reserve the right to alter any information contained within our terms and conditions at any point without prior notice. Once published, these will be effective immediately and any new valuation, transaction or contract will adhere to these.

8.Complaints and Liability

8.2 Any person connected with MORE FOR your car shall not be liable for damages of any kind including without limitation, direct, indirect, special or consequential damages, loss of income or profits, loss of or corruption of data, loss of or damage to property or claims of third parties, arising out of or in connection with our purchase of the car or our late or non-collection of the car.
8.3 The company does not limit it’s liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence but liability for property damage is expressly excluded.
